SUMMARY:Handgun Marksmanship Fundamentals Lab  - 01/11 @ 2:00pm
DESCRIPTION:This lab is designed to introduce\, or affirm\, the six primary fundamentals of handgun shooting to each student and demonstrate how these same fundamentals affect basic marksmanship. These fundamentals include the stance\, grip\, sight alignment\, breathing control\, trigger press and follow through. Our instructors will coach each student using the non-stress environment of the classroom to develop the competency in these shooting fundamentals. Upon demonstration of competency in the classroom\, our students will demonstrate these same competencies in live fire evolutions on the range while receiving continuous coaching to further perfect these marksmanship skills.\n***90 mins

SUMMARY:Handgun First Steps - 01/11 @ 5:30pm
DESCRIPTION:This course is intended for the individual with little or no firearms experience at all. There is not a great deal of range time in this class. This class is designed to set the groundwork for safe pistol handling. This class will teach you all the basics\, from handgun cleaning to definitions of terms to explaining the difference between a revolver and a semi-automatic. This is a great opportunity for a beginner to ask questions\, get answers\, and learn in a non-threatening environment. This will be a very FUN and informative class. There will be some time for some one-on-one instruction and if you want to\, there will be some time on the range to shoot a revolver and semi-automatic that you had learned about in the class (however\, you will not be forced to shoot if you are not ready!) SUMMARY:Handgun Next Steps - 01/12 @ 10:00am
DESCRIPTION:Handgun Next Steps takes off where Introduction to Handgun first steps left off. There will be a review of the topics and skills learned in Introduction to Handgun 1 and then we will build on them with most of the class being spent on handgun manipulation. Students will be experiencing loading and unloading of the handgun in the non-stress environment of the classroom using snap-caps (dummy rounds). We will also touch on legal definitions related to the storage and transport of handguns\, ammunition selection\, and basic marksmanship on the range.
